Digitization Operations - QA & QC-Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QA & QC professional to ensure the accuracy, completeness, quality, and consistency of digitized documents and data. The role involves inspecting scanned documents, validating metadata and indexing, identifying errors, monitoring process compliance, and implementing corrective actions to maintain required quality standards throughout digitization operations. Key Responsibilities Perform quality checks on scanned and digitized documents to ensure clarity, completeness, and readability. Verify that all pages are scanned correctly, including page sequence, orientation, resolution, and image quality. Check digitized files for missing pages, duplicate pages, skewed images, blank pages, cropping, distortion, and other defects. Validate data entry, metadata, indexing, file naming, and document classification against source records. Conduct sample-based and 100% quality inspections as defined by project requirements. Identify, record, and categorize errors or defects and coordinate their correction with digitization operators. Monitor adherence to approved SOPs, workflows, quality standards, and project-specific specifications. Maintain QA/QC checklists, inspection reports, error logs, and quality records. Calculate and monitor quality metrics such as accuracy, defect rate, rejection rate, and rework percentage. Perform root-cause analysis for recurring errors and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Conduct periodic audits of digitization batches and processes. Provide feedback and guidance to digitization operators to improve accuracy and productivity. Verify corrected/reworked batches before final acceptance. Ensure compliance with document security, confidentiality, and data-handling requirements. Escalate critical or recurring quality issues to the QA/QC Manager or Project Manager. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management.
