Job Description

Overview Based in Ontario, California, Comext Nutrition Inc. is a premier wholesale distributor of high-quality ingredients for the dietary supplement industries. We pride ourselves on bridging the gap between global manufacturers and local brands by ensuring the highest standards of safety, purity, and regulatory compliance. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator to lead our compliance efforts and represent our company during regulatory inspections.
Responsibilities FSVP Management:
Administer and execute the FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Programs) framework for imported raw materials to ensure strict compliance with FDA regulations.
Supplier & Product Audits:
Conduct comprehensive supplier qualifications, review foreign supplier compliance histories, and perform product-specific risk assessments.
Receiving Inspection:
Inspect incoming raw materials, verify packaging integrity, and ensure proper labeling and temperature/storage conditions upon arrival.
COA Review & Disposition:
Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) against internal product specifications and manage the physical and system Release, Hold, and Quarantine processes.
Documentation & CAPA:
Maintain accurate quality logs, investigate non-conformances, and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CORRECTION/CAPA) for warehouse and inventory discrepancies.
Audit Readiness:
Ensure ongoing adherence to
FDA 21 CFR
Part 111 (cGMP) standards and support internal/external regulatory audits.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
2+ years of QA/QC experience in a food, dietary supplement, or warehouse/distribution environment.
Core Knowledge:
Familiarity with FDA regulations, cGMP principles, and basic understanding of FSVP or food import requirements.
Technical Skills:
Ability to critically review technical documents (COAs, supplier certs, safety data sheets) and manage lab testing workflows.
Attributes:
Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Pay:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
