Job Description
About the Company JT Wimsatt Contracting Co has been a trusted leader in the construction industry since 1992, delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget. We partner with public and private sector clients to complete a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, residential, government, and specialty construction projects. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support project teams throughout the Los Angeles and San Diego regions . This role serves as a key quality resource for project teams by implementing, monitoring, and documenting quality control processes that ensure our work meets contract requirements, approved submittals, project specifications, applicable codes, industry standards, and company quality expectations. This position identifies nonconforming work, recommends corrective actions, and works with project leadership to ensure quality issues are resolved before work proceeds. The ideal candidate has strong field experience in construction and a proven background in QA/QC, inspections, documentation, and resolving quality issues in an active construction environment.
- Experience working for a self-performing concrete contractor or subcontractor is preferred.
- This position requires regular travel between Southern California project sites.
