The Quality Control Supervisor supervises and leads a team of Quality Control (QC) Leads and Technicians responsible for the inspection of incoming raw materials through finished goods release. In collaboration with Quality leadership, the QC Supervisor supports the development, enhancement and coordination of QC systems designed to ensure the continuous production of high-quality products that are consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals. Estimated starting annual base salary is $82,956.68 - $124,435.03 per year less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined by the Company, which may include, but is not limited to, location, experience, qualifications, education, skillset, and market conditions. The target base compensation for this role is in the low to middle of the range, with the top of the range reserved for only exceptional circumstances. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary, variable annual incentive, paid based on Company performance factors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high standards of quality and high technical integrity. Oversee and ensure consistent QC documentation, testing, reporting, and other activities in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Develop, maintain, and report quality metrics to Quality management. Lead internal continuous improvement teams to stabilize and improve quality processes using techniques such as statistical process control (SPC). Collaborate with Quality team and other interdepartmental teams to investigate deviations, customer complaints, and audit findings. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Regulatory, and other interdepartmental teams, as needed. Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams as needed. Maintain and update the standard operating procedures (SOPs), Quality Control work instructions, and job aids as needed. Oversee the practice of sample pulls for retains, lab testing, and customer submissions. Verify and enforce the upkeep of calibrated equipment, pest management, and electronic systems. Guide and ensure documentation meet ALCOA+ standards and data integrity standards. Design, develop, and implement quality control training programs in partnership with management. Support internal and external audits as directed. People Leader Responsibilities The position carries out people leader responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
