This position oversees incoming, in-process, and final product inspections, packaging quality, corrective actions, document control, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager works closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure compliance with customer requirements and company quality objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) Maintain the company's
ISO 9001
2015 Quality Management System. Ensure compliance with all ISO requirements and company quality procedures. Manage document control, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. Coordinate internal quality audits and support external surveillance and recertification audits. Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness. Monitor quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Lead Management Review meetings and prepare quality performance reports. Promote continuous improvement throughout the organization. Product Inspection Develop and maintain inspection procedures and acceptance criteria. Perform or oversee incoming, in-process, and final product inspections. Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Identify, document, and control nonconforming materials and products. Coordinate disposition of nonconforming product with appropriate departments. Maintain inspection records and quality documentation. Assist with root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions. Product Packaging Quality Develop and maintain packaging standards to ensure product protection during storage and transportation. Inspect packaging materials and finished packaged products for compliance with specifications. Work with Operations and Shipping to improve packaging methods and reduce shipping damage. Monitor packaging quality trends and implement improvements. Supplier Quality Evaluate supplier quality performance. Coordinate supplier corrective actions when quality issues occur. Assist Purchasing with supplier qualification and performance monitoring. Review incoming material inspection data and supplier quality metrics. Customer Quality Investigate customer complaints related to product quality. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Monitor customer quality trends and recommend process improvements. Support customer audits and quality questionnaires as required. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing, inspection, and packaging processes. Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement preventive actions. Participate in cross-functional improvement projects. Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives where applicable. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of quality experience in manufacturing or distribution. Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of

2015 requirements and auditing practices. Experience with inspection methods, measurement tools, and quality documentation. Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or quality management software. Physical Requirements Ability to walk throughout manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. Ability to perform visual inspections of products and packaging. Ability to stand for extended periods during inspections. Working Conditions This position is based in both office and manufacturing/warehouse environments and requires regular interaction with production, warehouse, shipping, purchasing, and customer service personnel.
