We're seeking a Quality Control Team Lead to oversee laboratory operations and lead a team of technical professionals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring product quality, testing accuracy, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement while supporting operational and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations Lead, coach, and develop a team of Engineers and Laboratory Analysts. Prioritize laboratory activities and resources to support production goals. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve performance. Provide support for off-hours and weekend operations as needed. Safety & Compliance Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety requirements. Ensure team members are properly trained and qualified. Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions to reduce risk. Quality Management Oversee daily QC laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, ISO requirements, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines. Maintain laboratory systems, testing methods, equipment, and data integrity processes. Lead investigations involving deviations, out-of-specification results, and quality events using root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support manufacturing decisions, product release activities, risk assessments, and audit readiness. Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings. Performance & Cost Management Ensure testing, investigations, and quality support activities are completed on time to meet production requirements. Optimize laboratory capacity, workflow efficiency, turnaround times, and service levels. Support cost-reduction efforts by minimizing waste, rework, repeat testing, and other non-value-added activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Experience in QC laboratory, analytical testing environment, or regulated manufacturing setting. Proven leadership experience.
Annual Salary Range:
