Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Glass Foreman - Quality Control to lead our quality assurance efforts with production on site. In this vital role, you will oversee quality control processes, conduct inspections, provide hand on training, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will help uphold our commitment to delivering flawless glass installations that meet stringent quality specifications.
Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Foreman is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in the Fabrication and installation of storefront and curtain wall. This role ensures that all installations and products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications. Glass experience required, 10 or more years of quality assurance for storefront and curtainwall installations.Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
○ Inspect storefront and curtainwall at various stages of the fabricating and installation process to ensure they meet quality standards. ○ Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any craftsmanship or quality issues. ○ Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities, by job.Team Leadership:
○ Supervise and train team members, ensuring they follow company procedures and standards. ○ Coordinate with production and installation teams to resolve quality- related issues. ○ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.Reporting and Documentation:
○ Prepare and present detailed quality reports to management. ○ Document any deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions. ○ Ensure all quality control documentation is accurate and up to date.Compliance and Safety:
○ Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. ○ Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols. ○ Report any safety hazards or incidents to management promptly.Travel and Flexibility:
○ Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required by project demands, this can be mandatory by job. ○ Ability to work late hours to meet project deadlines and address urgent quality issues.- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements.
