Rocky Mountain Steel Mills is looking for a Quality Supervisor to support our Seamless Mill in Pueblo, Colorado. This role requires a strong technical background in steel manufacturing quality systems, inspection and testing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies. The successful candidate will provide frontline leadership to quality personnel, ensuring compliance with quality standards, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and employee development. Supervise, coach, and develop quality inspectors and technicians to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. Assign daily work activities, establish priorities, and monitor employee performance to achieve departmental objectives. Maintain and improve quality management systems, standard operating procedures, and process control documentation. Oversee inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and product quality requirements. Develop and maintain quality control plans, including reaction plans for process and product nonconformances. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process performance. Conduct process audits, quality audits, and incoming material inspections to ensure compliance with established requirements. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge, technical competency, and quality awareness. Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Technical teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality-related issues. Promote a culture of safety by conducting safety observations, participating in job hazard analyses, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and leading by example.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; candidates with an engineering degree preferred 2-5 years' experience in a heavy industrial environment, steel preferred Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role preferred Experience and training in ISO-based quality management systems Experience with using and performing dimensional inspections on metal products Experience developing and delivering technical training to a wide range of audiences (technical/non-technical; shop-floor/staff roles) Proven experience using statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel) and conducting root cause analysis. Experience participating in or leading internal and external quality audits.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

$85,000 - $90,000Postings Dates:
