Shift 1: Start time 3:00 PM Shift 2: Start time 11:00 PM Position Summary The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and food safety processes within a fast-paced food distribution center. This role ensures products meet regulatory standards, company guidelines, and customer expectations while leading and developing a team of quality control associates. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily quality control operations within the distribution center Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including FDA, USDA, and HACCP standards Conduct routine inspections of products, storage areas, and handling processes Monitor temperature controls, sanitation practices, and product integrity Investigate and resolve quality issues, including customer complaints and non-conformances Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audits and internal records Lead, train, and coach QC team members to ensure consistent performance and adherence to standards Partner with warehouse and operations teams to improve quality processes and efficiency Support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in quality control or food safety, preferably in a food distribution or warehouse environment Previous supervisory or leadership experience required Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment (including refrigerated areas) Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality tracking systems Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Comfortable working in cold storage environments Why Join Us Competitive salary Opportunity for growth and advancement Collaborative and team-oriented environment Key role in maintaining product safety and quality standards
