full-time We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA Manager / SQF Practitioner to lead a Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs at a food manufacturing facility in Coral Springs, Florida.

Full-Time The QA Manager will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our food safety and quality management systems while ensuring compliance with SQF, FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, Preventive Controls, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can work closely with Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Management to build and maintain a strong food safety and quality culture. Key Responsibilities Serve as the facility's designated SQF Practitioner and lead the SQF Food Safety and Quality Management System. Maintain SQF certification and ensure the facility remains audit-ready at all times. Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve HACCP and Food Safety Plans. Ensure compliance with SQF, FDA, FSMA, GMPs, HACCP, Preventive Controls, sanitation, and allergen-control requirements. Lead preparation for SQF certification, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits. Manage corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, deviations, complaints, and non-conformances. Oversee product quality, environmental monitoring, product testing, sanitation verification, allergen control, and food safety programs. Investigate customer complaints, quality issues, product deviations, and food safety incidents. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions. Maintain accurate QA, food safety, and regulatory documentation and records. Establish and monitor quality standards, specifications, procedures, and programs. Work closely with Production and Operations to ensure food safety and quality requirements are consistently met. Train and coach employees on GMPs, food safety, SQF requirements, HACCP, sanitation, allergen control, and quality procedures. Monitor and trend quality and food safety data and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain a strong food safety culture throughout the organization. Participate in supplier approval, product development, new product launches, and change-control activities. Communicate food safety and quality concerns to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred. SQF Practitioner training/certification and hands-on SQF experience required. Minimum 3-5 years of QA/Food Safety experience in a food manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience managing SQF certification and audits.

Strong knowledge of:

SQF Code, HACCP, FDA and FSMA requirements, GMPs/cGMPs Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. SQF Internal Auditor training. Experience with customer and regulatory audits. Experience with quality management systems and document-control systems.
