Quality Manager | High-Impact Leadership Role | LTACH (Athens, GA) Step Into a Visible Leadership Role-With Real Influence A growing hospital network is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality, risk, and patient safety initiatives at a 42-bed Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Athens, GA. This is not a back-office role-you'll work closely with the Hospital CEO, partner with clinical leadership, and drive measurable improvements in outcomes for medically complex patients with extended stays (~25 days). Why This Role Stands Out Direct access to the Hospital CEO -high visibility and influence Autonomy to lead and implement initiatives (not just maintain them) Tight-knit hospital environment-less bureaucracy, more impact Monday-Friday schedule -no weekends Opportunity to build and elevate quality, risk, and safety programs What You'll Own Lead Quality & Performance Improvement initiatives across the hospital Drive regulatory compliance & accreditation readiness (CIHQ-aligned) Oversee risk management, infection prevention, and patient safety programs Spearhead survey readiness and continuous improvement efforts Analyze quality metrics and outcomes to guide decision-making Utilize quality tools (e.g., root cause analysis ) to improve processes Partner closely with clinical and operational leadership to elevate care What You Bring 3+ years of experience in Quality, Risk, or Infection Control in healthcare Experience with regulatory/accreditation processes (The Joint Commission or CIHQ) Active clinical license (RN, RT, or similar) Experience with EMR/EHR systems Strong analytical and leadership skillsPreferred:
