Job Description Insight Global is looking for an IT Quality Assurance Analyst/Manager who must demonstrate the ability to lead aQA team; problem solve and have good interpersonal skills to interact daily with Development and Production operations groups. The QA Analyst will also provide expertise in a continuous process improvement QA methodology. Understanding Healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and regulatory compliance is critical as well as ability to interact with IT Network and Security groups to ensure systems and processes are free from defects that would cause a breach or security incident. This role is a direct hire position sitting near Norcross, GA but will eventually be remote. The position has a compensation range of $80,000-95,000 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve QA strategy, standards, and methodologies;
  • Lead and mentor other QA analysts and test engineers;
  • Establish QA metrics and utilize existing reporting frameworks to keep IT and corporate business system owners informed on QA issues and testing status;
  • Oversee functional, integration, regression, system, performance, and user acceptance testing;
  • Ensure compliance with
HIPAA, HITECH, SOC 2
validation requirements (as applicable), and other standards as they evolve;
  • Collaborate with development teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC and review the results of all unit and component testing done by development groups;
  • Approve software releases from a QA perspective;
  • Monitor production quality issues and oversee corrective actions;

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred;
  • 5+ years of progressive software QA experience;
  • 1+ years in QA leadership roles;
  • Experience in healthcare software or regulated technology environments;
  • Expertise with test automation tools and be capable of developing manual test plans for various systems utilizing various legacy technologies such as .Net, and ASP;
  • Strong understanding of as well as a working knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
