Job Description

Some quality roles are about ticking boxes. This one is about building confidence. Confidence that every product leaving the site is safe. Confidence that the team knows exactly what great looks like. Confidence that when an audit, customer, or challenge arrives, you're already prepared. A well-established food manufacturer is looking for a Quality & Food Safety Supervisor to become a key part of its site leadership team. You'll lead from the front, helping create an environment where food safety and quality aren't just procedures on paper, but part of the culture every day. You'll oversee the day-to-day quality function, working closely with production to maintain high standards across the facility while developing and supporting the people around you. From customer complaint investigations and root cause analysis to internal audits, HACCP, SQF, preventive controls, and continuous improvement, you'll have the opportunity to influence how the site performs rather than simply maintain it. This role suits someone who enjoys being visible. Someone who likes coaching people, solving problems, asking questions, and finding better ways of working. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, the support of an experienced leadership team, and the opportunity to develop both the quality systems and the people behind them. Whether you're already supervising a quality team or you're an experienced Quality professional who has started leading people and is ready for the next step, this role offers the chance to build your leadership career in a business that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Experience within food manufacturing is important, along with a solid understanding of food safety systems, regulatory compliance, and quality standards. Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, PCQI, audits, and corrective action processes will put you in a strong position to succeed. If you're looking for a role where your leadership can make as much of a difference as your technical knowledge, I'd love to tell you more. Let's talk in confidence.
