As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will guide QA processes and team members to ensure every product meets the highest standards for quality and food safety. You will play a key role in monitoring production, supporting compliance, coaching team members, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who is passionate about food safety, team development, and delivering products customers can trust every day. Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and train QA team members. Implement and monitor QA programs (HACCP, SSOPs). Conduct quality and safety audits. Analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvements. Collaborate with production team to resolve issues. Maintain regulatory compliance (USDA, FDA). Minimum Education and Experience High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required. Preferred Education and Experience 2+ years QA experience in poultry/manufacturing processing. Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOPs, and regulatory requirements. Leadership and training skills. Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle products from 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 dB to 110 db. May be exposed to dust and all chemicals used in pork, food, processing facility. You must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm. Able to stand for several hours. Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly. Perdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
