About Our Client Our client is a premier North American contract manufacturer specializing in precision metal components, complex assemblies, and engineered manufacturing solutions. Backed by comprehensive in-house capabilities-including sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding, finishing, and full-scale assembly-the company supports customers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design and prototyping to high-volume production. Serving a broad range of industries, including aerospace, medical, industrial equipment, automation, and technology, it is recognized for delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable manufacturing solutions supported by strong engineering expertise. Job Description Direct the Quality team (inspectors, technicians, engineers) through prioritization, coaching, and accountability. Balance workload across the Quality team to ensure efficiency and avoid bottlenecks. Train team members on quality standards, tools, and problem-solving methods (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA, PPAP). Encourage team members to identify process improvements and implement solutions. Drive corrective and preventive action systems (CAPA) to resolve customer complaints and systemic issues. Encourage ownership of quality processes, audits, and corrective actions. Collaborate with operations and engineering on root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and defect reduction. Establish performance standards, procedures, and audit controls that meet business and customer requirements. Develop and maintain KPIs for quality performance; report regularly to division leadership. Organize and promote company-wide quality improvement efforts. Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal business units to resolve issues. Travel to customer, supplier, and internal business unit sites may be required when necessary. Lead internal audits as well as second- and third-party audits. Support the team for all new product introductions and engineering changes to verify quality documentation is correct and assist with NPI signoff. Participate in team meetings, document action items, and keep the team aware of customer concerns.
