Our client is a privately held manufacturer specializing in high-volume precision metal manufacturing. As part of its continued growth, the company has recently secured new automotive business and is strengthening its U.S. Quality organization to support this expansion. This is a hands-on leadership role for an automotive Quality professional who can take ownership of the site's Quality Management System and play a key role in developing the U.S. operation toward

The incoming Quality Manager will build on this foundation, adapting and further developing the systems required for the growing U.S. automotive business. Key priorities will include

certification readiness, new automotive program launches, Automotive Core Tools, customer audit preparation, and the continued development of the site's Quality processes and team. The position reports directly to the President and works closely with manufacturing leadership in the United States as well as colleagues at the company's headquarters in Europe. We welcome applications from current Quality Managers as well as experienced Senior Quality Engineers, Quality Systems Engineers, Assistant Quality Managers, Quality Supervisors, or similar automotive Quality professionals who are ready to take the next step into broader Quality leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and continuously improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS) Play a leading role in preparing the U.S. operation for

compliance Support the launch of newly awarded automotive programs Prepare the organization for automotive customer and third-party audits Apply and strengthen Automotive Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA/PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans Develop and maintain Quality procedures, work instructions, Control Plans, inspection plans, and related documentation Ensure customer-specific requirements are effectively implemented Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and structured problem-solving activities Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Tooling, Purchasing, and Production to improve product and process Quality Monitor Quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives Train and coach employees on Quality processes, systems, and documentation Support supplier and customer Quality activities as needed Work closely with the German headquarters to adapt and standardize Quality processes for the U.S. operation Serve as the primary local Quality leader for the U.S. operation Required Qualifications Several years of progressive Quality experience within automotive manufacturing Hands-on experience working within an IATF 16949-certified manufacturing environment Strong experience with Automotive Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA/PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans Experience preparing for or participating in internal, customer, certification, or third-party Quality audits Experience supporting automotive production, product launches, customer requirements, or manufacturing Quality Working knowledge of
