Job Description

Job Summary:
The Quality Control Coordinator in home healthcare is responsible for ensuring that all patient care services meet established regulatory, clinical, and organizational standards. This role monitors compliance with healthcare laws, accreditation requirements, and internal policies while supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives. The coordinator conducts audits of patient records, evaluates staff performance, and reviews care plans to ensure accuracy, safety, and effectiveness of services provided in the home setting. They collaborate with clinical staff, administrators, and external agencies to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Additionally, the Quality Control Coordinator tracks quality metrics, prepares reports, and helps maintain readiness for inspections by regulatory bodies such as state health departments and accreditation organizations. This position plays a key role in promoting high-quality patient care, reducing risk, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine chart audits and compliance reviews Ensure adherence to state, federal, and agency regulations Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions Support staff training on quality standards and best practices Maintain documentation for surveys and inspections Analyze quality data and generate performance reports
Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge of home healthcare regulations (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid) Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Experience with clinical documentation and audits Excellent communication and organizational abilities Background in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field High school Diploma or College Degree Must be able to pass a background check Bilingual Spanish (read, speak and write)

$20.00 per hour
