Quality Control Manager Supervisor:

VP of Product Support TCI Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team in Walnut, Illinois. This role is responsible for inspecting equipment throughout fabrication and assembly, documenting quality findings, and working closely with production and engineering to ensure every piece of equipment leaves our facility built to specification and ready to perform. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working alongside teams across the plant to help TCI deliver a quality product. Primary Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections throughout fabrication and assembly, working alongside production teams to catch issues early
• Create and maintain inspection records, checklists, photos, and other quality documentation to support consistent, repeatable processes
• Identify and document quality issues, and coordinate with the departments involved to determine and communicate needed corrections
• Verify that corrections and repairs are completed properly before equipment moves to the next stage
• Review drawings, BOMs, and other documentation alongside production to confirm equipment is built as designed
• Identify recurring quality issues and work with the relevant departments on solutions that prevent repeat problems
• Help ensure TCI equipment leaves the plant complete, correct, and ready to perform as intended
• Develop clear, detailed work instructions that help production teams build equipment to proper specifications
• Serve as a resource for supervisors and production staff on quality-related questions and best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn how TCI equipment is designed and built
• Ability to read and understand fabrication and assembly drawings
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and electrical systems is beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to address problems when they're found
• Ability to use common inspection and measurement tools
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with production, engineering, and management
• Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing, equipment assembly, service, or quality control preferred
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and follow issues through to completion Benefits

Rate:

$25.00 - $32.00/hr with overtime as needed

• Additional PTO accrued at 4 hours monthly based on attendance Work Environment & Physical Demands This position works primarily in a manufacturing shop environment.

The role involves regular exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided. Some work may be performed outdoors or at elevated heights. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
