Contract to Hire Skillforce is currently hiring an experienced Quality Control Manager for a manufacturing facility in New Albany, IN. This position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and inspection processes, ensuring finished products meet customer specifications, and working closely with production to identify and resolve quality issues. Responsibilities Oversee daily quality control, inspection, and quality assurance processes. Review finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and company standards. Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality and accuracy. Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate quality control records and documentation. Work closely with production teams to resolve quality concerns. Help identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Ensure quality procedures and standards are consistently followed. Promote a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Previous quality control/quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing experience required. Strong understanding of inspection and quality control processes. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Dependable with a strong work ethic.
