Job Description
Quality Manager - Indianapolis, IN Position Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Quality Manager to uphold El Milagro's legacy of excellence at our Indianapolis plant. This individual will ensure our tortillas continue to meet the highest standards through robust systems and a hands-on approach. Key Duties & Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System, ensuring product consistency and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Lead quality assurance and control protocols across all production phases—including raw materials, in-process checks, and final product evaluations. Conduct frequent audits, traceability checks, and corrective/preventive actions to address quality deviations. Own product testing and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory readiness. Collaborate with Operations to integrate quality improvements and lean principles into daily routines. Train and mentor staff in quality standards, GMP, sanitation, and safety practices. Serve as liaison with external auditors, customers, and regulatory inspectors. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement plant-wide, aligned with El Milagro's values. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in food science, quality assurance, or related field. 3-7 years of quality assurance experience in food or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with
