Quality Supervisor Posted on April 16, 2026 April 16, 2026 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the Quality Assurance function by maintaining, improving, and overseeing quality systems to ensure products meet customer expectations. This role provides leadership to quality inspectors and plays a key part in driving compliance, continuous improvement, and product quality across operations. Position Responsibilities Quality Systems Management Maintain, update, and improve quality systems and procedures. Serve as SOP Administrator, managing creation, revision, and removal of standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal requirements. Inspection & Production Support Supervise quality inspectors and ensure proper testing of finished goods. Support production teams to meet deadlines and quality standards. Oversee inspection activities for ongoing production and new product launches. Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action Investigate non-conforming products and customer complaints. Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Maintain records of complaints and corrective actions and report findings to leadership. Audits & External Coordination Coordinate with audit teams and external laboratories. Define testing requirements and review laboratory results. Communicate findings internally and determine product acceptance status. Leadership & Performance Management Provide supervision and performance management for Quality Inspectors. Act as second-in-command within the Quality function. Provide feedback to manufacturing teams based on quality findings and audit results. Continuous Improvement & Data Analysis Utilize quality tools such as flow charts, check sheets, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control charts. Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. Ensure accurate data collection and reporting for decision-making. Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned. Prerequisites Minimum 5 years of progressive quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in quality management and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T (testing may be required). Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data and implement corrective actions. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Lean Six Sigma certification. Internal auditor certifications (ISO/AS9100).
