Position Summary The Quality Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality standards for our electric vehicles throughout their entire lifecycle, from design, development, and manufacturing to customer delivery. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing robust quality systems, processes, and methodologies to achieve exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction. Position Responsibilities Lead the quality team responsible for the vehicle quality at the factory, monitoring our manufacturing processes and key quality indicators and driving continuous improvements. Support the production of high-quality electric vehicles through the development and continual improvement of systems/processes/procedures that support a great Plant Quality Management System Develop a QMS system to drive process and product improvements with the use of QA and QMS methodologies. Develop a schedule for and perform Internal Audits of all areas/departments, defining strong and weak areas of the process while ensuring the effectiveness of the processes. Reviews audit findings with the auditors and Management staff as needed, issuing and validating audit finding corrective actions to closure. Maintain
QA & QMS
metrics through the successful completion of on-time delivery of assignments and action plans. Execute a multi-department development and implementation of quality standards as part of the quality management system, QMS, to assure products meet expectations of our target customers. Perform Gap Analysis in the early development of new systems and forward results to department leaders to assist them in process and procedure improvement. Lead cross-functional teams to drive root cause and corrective action investigations and processes. Lead communication of quality performance, investigations, and corrective actions Continue to build and develop a strong quality function around people growth, process improvement, and management by KPI Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Proven experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Management, ideally within the automotive or aeronautic industry. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Experience in leading and developing a team of Quality Engineers. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes. Proficient in root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and problem-solving techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, 8D, Red-X methodology). Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products. Ideal Candidates Will Also Have Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards specific to electric vehicles.
