Title:
Quality Assurance ManagerExempt Status:
Non-Exempt Summary:
The purpose of this position is to establish, maintain and continuously improve the quality system and the productivity in conjunction with all Managers of Eclectic Products, Inc. (EPI). The quality system responsibilities are done in a way that ensures consistent product of the highest quality and that makes process and/or product upgrades based on sound quality principles, so that EPI maximizes customer satisfaction, and minimizes waste and production costs.
Primary Duties:
Drive, maintain and continuously improve the Quality SystemIn conjunction with all Managers/Supervisors look for ways to increase productivity
Supervisor Quality Control Associate and QC Tech Non-Essential Duties:
Assist with problem solving as needed, or as requested by supervision.

Establish testing protocols and define reference materials for that testing that can be performed under contract. Manage external testing to ensure that the data needed is the data obtained.

Answer technical service questions from customers and Sales personnel as needed.

Communicate regularly with EPI and Willamette Valley Company (WVCO) management. Conduct presentations and seminars as needed to inform and educate other employees, or as requested by management.

Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Experience:
Bachelors degree in chemistry or a related science.

Minimum of 2 years of product formulation experience.

Training in Quality System management.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading a Quality System construction and/or maintenance effort at a chemical manufacturing plant.

Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
