Candidates must be able to obtain a security-clearance badge for work on restricted federal sites and must be a U.S. citizen. About the Position We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee and implement the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Program on federal government construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with contract requirements, project specifications, safety standards, and applicable federal regulations. Required Qualifications
  • Current CQM Certification for Contractors - (Certification required)
  • Minimum 5 years of construction quality control experience
  • Experience managing quality control on federal construction projects
  • Thorough understanding of: o
USACE EM 385-1-1
requirements o Federal construction specifications and contract documents o Three-Phase Control System (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up Inspections) o Submittal management and documentation requirements o Quality assurance and quality control procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, schedules, and contract documents
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Experience with RMS/QCS software
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification
  • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) projects
  • Additional certifications related to construction quality management Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project's Quality Control Plan.
  • Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections in accordance with federal contract requirements.
  • Coordinate and document all quality control activities.
  • Review contract documents, specifications, drawings, RFIs, and submittals for compliance.
  • Identify deficiencies, track corrective actions, and verify resolution.
  • Conduct quality control meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation and prepare quality control reports.
  • Coordinate with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, and government representatives.
  • Ensure all work meets contract requirements before government inspections and acceptance. What We Offer
