$120,000-140,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications) Position Summary Anchor Construction is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to lead and manage the Quality Control Program for a major civil and infrastructure construction project. This role is responsible for implementing the approved Quality Control Plan, coordinating inspections and testing, managing the Three Phases of Control, and ensuring compliance with all contract quality requirements. Upon successful completion of the initial project assignment, this position is designed to transition into a Project Manager role based on individual performance, project availability, and business needs. This growth opportunity is ideal for a construction professional with strong quality control expertise who is interested in expanding into broader project management responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manage and implement the project Quality Control Plan in compliance with contract requirements. Lead quality control meetings and oversee the Three Phases of Control. Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality documentation. Review submittals and verify work complies with plans, specifications, and quality standards. Identify and resolve nonconforming work through corrective actions. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to ensure quality expectations are met. Support project closeout, punch-list completion, and final acceptance activities. Monitor quality-related safety concerns and communicate issues to appropriate personnel. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control, construction management, project management, or similar roles on comparable projects. Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspections, testing, and contract compliance. Experience on heavy civil, utility, infrastructure, or similar construction projects. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
