Job Description

Quality Manager Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality and control initiatives within our manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Your energetic leadership will drive a culture of excellence, precision, and accountability across all production processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial or manufacturing engineering, with expertise in quality standards such as
IATF 16949.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product quality at every stage while fostering cross-functional collaboration and innovation. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems aligned with IATF 16949, and other relevant standards to ensure regulatory compliance and product excellence. Lead internal and external quality audits to identify areas for improvement, verify adherence to quality standards, and facilitate certification processes. Oversee quality control procedures including inspections, testing protocols, and analysis to detect defects early and prevent non-conformities. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish robust quality standards in production processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma methodologies and Lean management principles to optimize workflows and reduce waste. Manage regulatory compliance efforts related to FDA regulations, legal standards, and industry-specific requirements such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) for precise manufacturing specifications. Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality issues while maintaining detailed documentation of all quality activities. Conduct regular training sessions on quality systems, GMP practices, GxP (Good Practice) regulations, and other relevant topics to elevate team expertise. Skills Proven experience in conducting thorough quality audits and assessments within manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to production industries. Expertise in applying Six Sigma tools and Lean management techniques for process optimization and defect reduction. Proficiency in GD&T principles for precise measurement and inspection of manufactured parts. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, foster cross-functional communication, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Analytical skills capable of interpreting complex data sets to identify trends and implement effective solutions. Project management experience with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
