As the onsite quality leader, you'll oversee inspection readiness, testing compliance, documentation accuracy, and turnover quality across electrical construction projects. You'll work closely with project leadership, field teams, engineering, safety, commissioning, vendors, and third‑party agencies to ensure every phase of the project meets the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the project Quality Plan, including ITPs, inspection checklists, hold/witness points, and quality staffing assignments. Verify field work against current IFC drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, manufacturer instructions, and applicable electrical codes and standards. Oversee inspections and testing for underground/conduit work, grounding/bonding, cable installation, MV systems, terminations, equipment setting, torque verification, labeling, pre‑energization, and other project‑specific scopes. Coordinate qualified testing personnel, laboratories, vendors, and third‑party agencies; review and validate test results for compliance. Manage receiving inspections, material/storage conditions, calibration controls, NCR/QIR processes, rework verification, corrective actions, and issue closure. Conduct quality audits and field assessments; communicate risks, trends, open issues, inspection status, and turnover readiness. Maintain complete, accurate quality records and turnover packages; coach field teams on expectations and escalate conditions that may impact compliance, reliability, safety, or downstream work. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in QA/QC, electrical construction, commissioning, inspection, or related field work. Strong understanding of electrical construction practices and ability to interpret drawings, one‑lines, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and manufacturer documentation. Experience with inspections/testing, NCR/corrective action processes, turnover documentation, and field reporting. Strong communication, organization, and field leadership skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel or relocate to project sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications Electrical trade background, electrical license, technical degree, or construction management experience. Experience in utility, industrial, substation, BESS, solar, wind, data center, or other large‑scale electrical projects. Quality, auditor, or testing credentials; familiarity with tools such as Autodesk Build/ACC, Procore, Bluebeam, or Power BI. Field Expectations Frequent walking, standing, climbing, bending, and working in active construction environments. Use of required PPE and ability to work in varying weather conditions, noise levels, dust, and uneven terrain. Ability to support project schedules, including extended hours required.
