OVERVIEW
Food Safety Quality Supervisor is responsible for supervising and leading Food Safety Quality Technicians to ensure proper execution of all procedures and continued compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements. This role provides effective communication with management, transportation, procurement, production, and maintenance to support efficient facility operations.RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule and assign daily duties for Food Safety Quality Technicians Train and onboard new Food Safety Quality Technicians Complete performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching Provide backup coverage for Food Safety Quality Technicians as required Perform water sampling for review third party lab Performs weekly environmental checks Orders supplies for lab Coordinates samples for customers and sales Signs off CCP records on a daily basis Complete lab equipment verifications Complete nonconforming product documents and rejections Correct errors in lot numbering and code dates if found after the fact Perform the required testing of raw product from both storage and incoming raw product deliveries. Ensure that all the required documentation is completed in a timely fashion and that it is accurate and legible. Identify and make recommendations for continuous improvements. Other duties as requested by the Food Safety Quality ManagerQUALIFICATIONS
Education Diploma required. Work Experience 2 years of relevant QA experience in a fruit environment preferred. Experience with third party audit and HACCP training ideal. Must be self-motivated and have a high attention to detail. Skills and Knowledge Proficient using PC, via keyboard/mouse, and various software applications Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and privacy of confidential information. Ability to work well under pressure and quickly assess and respond appropriately to questions. Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly. Good organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail.
