Speaking Korean is not required, but the customer's ideal candidate is preferred to be bilingual in English and Korean. This is a full-time staffed position working on assignment at our customer's facility. This pivotal role involves leading a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of product quality, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and overseeing the Quality Testing Team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in quality control and assurance, with a strong foundation in manufacturing standards, measurement techniques, and regulatory compliance. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold quality standards, and foster a culture of excellence across production processes. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the quality assurance team to perform comprehensive quality inspections and audits throughout the manufacturing cycle. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems Oversee calibration and proper use of use of measuring instruments at testing stations, visual inspection, and precision measuring instruments Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards in production Analyze inspection data to identify trends or deviations; implement corrective actions promptly Facilitate training sessions for direct employees working in the quality testing area. Collaborate with management to ensure production goals on a daily and weekly basis Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and process improvements for management review. Qualifications Proven experience in quality assurance within manufacturing environments, preferably in automotive component devices Proficiency with multiple quality testing procedures Familiarity with vision inspection systems and other precision measurement tools. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions effectively. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives. Basic math skills necessary for dimensional measurements and measurement system analysis (MSA). Effective leadership capabilities with strong communication skills to guide teams toward achieving high-quality outcomes. Ability to interpret manufacturing documents accurately while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
