while driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Quality team, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements. Drive the use of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) throughout the organization. Oversee audits, corrective actions, and supplier quality performance. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and strengthen processes. Report on key quality metrics and lead structured problem-solving initiatives. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field (preferred). 5+ years in the automotive industry with experience in metals and manufacturing . Proven leadership experience managing direct reports. Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills. Preferred (Not Required) Bi-lingual English/Spanish. Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt. VDA experience. ERP software knowledge. Supplier management and development experience. Experience with castings or forgings.
