Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality systems to ensure our products meet rigorous quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Duration:

Shift:
Monday - Friday - (7 am to 4:00pm) Pay range: $29 on W2.
Purpose:
The operations quality specialist is responsible in liaison with operations to ensure a quality finished product which meets customer specifications. This is accomplished by conforming to all standards of the Clients Quality Management System (LQMS). Establish, supervise, administer, and monitor quality assurance programs to assure that policies, procedures, specifications, HACCP, GMP's, BRC, and EQMS standards and regulatory requirements are consistently implemented Provide quality and food safety support to both quality and production departments Assist the management teams in the maintenance of quality systems Product Safety Quality Event corrective action follow-up and monitoring Prep and document all audit documents and programs for the plant Perform positive release External warehouse inventory management Complete HACCP record reviews related to Positive Release Complete SharePoint updates Assist with lab calibrations Support the creation of quality trainings by training specialist Act as a back up to the Quality Supervisor to support lab technicians Non-conforming & Downgrade Tracking for Cheese Specification Deviation Management for Cheese Provide input on whey powder specification updates Manage costumer samples for cheese Document Control Program management (not record management) Lot track and trace exercise coordination Assist with Environmental Monitoring Program Manage GMP audit program Complete other duties as assigned Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; climb up and down stairs and ladders; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
-Work environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The temperature of the work environment can fluctuate due to occasional temperatures from cold/cool to warm/hot. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud and will require ear plugs. While working in the manufacturing areas, the incumbent is required to wear personal protective equipment.
Education:
(Required): Associate degree or higher. Preferably in Food science / Dairy science or related field (Preferred): Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science / Dairy Science or comparable field "
