Quality Assurance Director — Advanced Manufacturing Starkville, MS | $130,000 - $165,000 Base

+ Benefits A stable and growing advanced manufacturer is hiring a Quality Assurance Director to oversee quality systems, personnel, customer quality, supplier performance, and continuous improvement at a key manufacturing operation. The position offers significant autonomy and direct interaction with senior leadership. It is ideal for a quality leader who understands regulated manufacturing and can turn quality data into practical operational improvements. What You'll Be Doing Direct quality assurance activities across the manufacturing site. Maintain and strengthen the certified quality management system. Partner with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns. Develop quality KPIs and present performance trends to senior leadership. Approve and monitor external providers from a quality perspective. Coach the quality team and establish clear expectations, accountability, and development plans. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline. Progressive manufacturing quality experience with demonstrated management responsibility. Experience supervising quality professionals and managing departmental priorities. Knowledge of certified quality systems, audits, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis. Ability to interpret technical and manufacturing documentation. Must qualify as a U.S. person under applicable export-control requirements. Willingness to work onsite and travel occasionally. Preferred Qualifications Quality leadership within aerospace or defense manufacturing. Experience with AS9100-certified operations. Familiarity with NADCAP-controlled processes or suppliers.
