JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing leadership and support on assigned programs and projects ensuring that the Company's products are manufactured in accordance with customer specifications and Company quality requirements. Supervises the activities of Quality Assurance and Sanitation personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for all programs, preparation, and regulatory compliance of third party, county and state audits. Responsible for writing company manuals including Quality Program, HACCP Program, Food Safety Program, Good Manufacturing Program, Allergen Program, Master Sanitation Program, Site Security Program, Raw and Finished Product Specifications, Recall Program, Micro Swabbing Program and Chemical Concentration Program. Plan, develop and organize Quality Control department Food Safety Coordinator HACCP certified

compliance Assures that all raw ingredient shipments have certificate of analysis and letters of guarantee that match the product received. Manage material specifications by securing Certificate of analysis Initiates and performs Internal Audits Performs, documents and verifies Plant Inspections. Reports and collects all consumer comments. Reports trend analysis against company goals. Establishes and assures adherence to set specifications and standards of finished product Plan and coordinate joint sanitation and QA tasks. Manages micro program and reports trends, data and information to Food Safety Team. Monitor and assist QA technicians in daily task. Responsible for accuracy of documentation generated by QA technicians Updates all product specifications as needed. Perform informal and formal training sessions as mandated by company and mission requirements. Maintains, verifies and revises all QA and Sanitation manuals on file and in company server. Prepares food safety, quality control and production reports. Supplies and maintains finished product nutritional data and labels on file and in company server. Performs monthly HACCP meetings. Assure all job assignments are performed in a safe and expedient manner, and perform other duties as assigned.

Supervises the factory sanitation department encompassing all machinery and areas within food plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Sanitation Department encompassing all machinery and areas within food plant. Establishes and assures adherence to set frequencies of cleaning and sanitation. Must coordinate and publish work schedule to accomplish sanitation daily mission. Plan and coordinate joint sanitation and maintenance tasks. Monitor and assist food safety team in coordinating pest control tasks, and that these applications are in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements. Assure that all chemical applications are performed in accordance with sanitation methodology operating procedures. Responsible for accuracy of documentation generated by sanitors and leads. Assure all job assignments are performed in a safe and expedient manner, and perform other duties as assigned by competent management personnel. Overall responsibility for supervision will be the entire premises of the plant such as FDA room, coolers, conveyors, tumbler rooms, freezers and packaging equipment. Responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the Sanitation crew and production activities on the assigned shift. Responsible for assuring personnel adheres to Company Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Productivity standards. Responsible for process Improvement, and operational details relating to schedules, crew management, training and disciplining. Promotes monitors and trains team members on Company Safety practices and standards. Promotes a positive safety work culture. Conducts Safety training, including OSHA subject training as well Lock out Tag Out trainings. Assists in conducting safety audits and assists on Job Safety and Risk Analysis. Monitors daily production quality data to assure compliance of standards and specifications and makes process adjustments when necessary. Promotes and trains team members on good quality practices, quality related SOP's and GMP's Participates in investigating and problem-solving of root causes of Customer Complaints or other potential quality issues. Responsible for Team Members following established HACCP guidelines. Participates on the Company HACCP team. Assures that all team members are trained and follow GMP's. Participate on the FSQ Team audits and facilitates the execution of action items. Reviews schedule to coordinate staffing, equipment readiness, materials and timing to assure schedule is executed to meet customer demand. Completes daily shift performance reports. Monitors and analyzes equipment performance and works with resources in Continuous Improvement process. Periodically facilitates shift meeting to review operational performance and promote input from Team members. Assures the Inventory control processes are followed and documentation accurate. Coach Team Members to promote Continuous Improvement in areas of Safety, Quality, Cost effectiveness, Productivity and Material utilization. Communicate performance and operational issues and solutions in team meetings as well as during the shift. Reviews microbiological data and provides solutions to deviations from standards Works to make adjustments to the master sanitation program to eliminate re-occurring deficiencies May also engage, in part, in the same work as the employees he/she supervises. Conducts employee training to promote and ensure the hygienic handling of product and other sanitary requirements including SSOP's and GMP's to ensure cleanliness in the preparation and handling of edible product. Takes corrective action to different types of problems that may be encountered to detect the root cause of the problem. Makes recommendation for correction and total elimination by communications, maintenance of uniformity within the department, and installing food safety awareness attitude with all employees to do it right the first time. Utilize a positive effective interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team. Promote responsibility and accountability among Team members to help achieve high standards. Develop performance of Team Members to enhance their future job roles and responsibilities. Delegating effectively to achieve team results through the performance of others. Effectively utilize recognition and discipline to reward positive performance and behavior as well as deter nonconforming behavior and performance. Assures that safety, quality and operational training is conducted effectively and documented appropriately. Evaluate training needs to assure adequate qualifications to effectively run.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Experienced with all machinery and areas. Must be intimately familiar with the automated, master sanitation, and daily inspection programs as outlined within the standard operating procedures. Computer literate (word-processing, Excel) Inventory systems knowledge. Ability to order supplies. Effectively communicate with upper Management verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions.
