Quality Manager Southern Fasteners & Supply, LLC / SFS Winston-Salem, NC Job Details 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system that ensures compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory obligations. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for quality initiatives across the organization, driving continuous improvement, fostering a culture of quality, and ensuring that products, processes, and services consistently meet established performance expectations. The position oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality policies, procedures, and compliance programs aligned with
AS9120, ISO
9001, and applicable industry standards, including AN, MS, NASM, MIL, ANSI/ASME, ASTM, SAE, IFI, DIN, and ISO specifications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and regulatory auditors, the Quality Assurance Manager establishes quality objectives, monitors performance metrics, and ensures effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Key responsibilities include leading quality improvement initiatives, developing and delivering quality-related training programs, managing supplier quality requirements, and partnering with purchasing and sourcing teams to ensure external vendors meet company and customer expectations. The role serves as the primary liaison between customers, suppliers, and auditors on quality matters, promoting effective communication and resolution of compliance concerns. The Quality Assurance Manager directs product inspection, testing, validation, and disposition activities while ensuring that quality methods, testing procedures, and regulatory requirements are properly understood and consistently applied throughout the organization. This position also evaluates product conformance, oversees internal and external approvals required, and supervises technical quality personnel to maintain high standards of product integrity and service excellence. Additionally, the role is responsible for maintaining quality documentation and control systems, collecting and analyzing operational and quality performance data, preparing technical and management reports, and developing customer-facing documentation related to quality and regulatory requirements. Through data-driven decision-making, effective leadership, and strong business acumen, the Quality Assurance Manager supports organizational objectives, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business profitability.
