Quality Control, Safety & Inventory Coordinator

Position Summary The Quality Control, Safety & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, supporting workplace safety initiatives, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role plays a key p art in upholding company standards for product quality, employee safety, and operational efficiency. When not performing inspections or safety checks, this position will assist with warehouse and production support duties. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Quality Control Inspect incoming fabric shipments for defects, damage, and compliance with product specifications using both destructive and non-destructive methods Verify materials match purchase orders and specifications Inspect in-house manufactured products to ensure quality standards are met Document and report inspection results to management and/or purchasing for resolution Maintain inspection logs and assist in improving quality procedures Develop and maintain documentation for company processes and procedures Safety Monitor workplace areas for compliance with company safety policies and OSHA guidelines Assist with routine safety inspections and reporting Perform accident investigations Organize and document safety meetings, training sessions, and incident reports Promote safe work practices and communicate concerns to supervisors Help maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment Inventory & Production Support Assist with receiving, labeling, and organizing materials Conduct routine inventory counts and verify stock accuracy Maintain documentation of material movement and storage Support production operations as needed Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in material handling and inventory accuracy Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory counts Assist with asset tracking and documentation Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify material defects and safety concerns Basic math and measurement skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Strong communication, organization, and recordkeeping skills Ability to effectively use email, messaging, and video conferencing tools Willingness to learn and support multiple operational areas Experience in quality control, safety, or inventory/warehouse environments preferred but not required Education and Experience Associate's degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in a production environment preferred Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory responsibilities Work Environment Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration Work environment can be loud Physical Demands Regularly required to talk and hear Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds intermittently throughout the day Position Type & Travel Full-time position No travel required

Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
