Job Description

Responsibilities HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support a marine dredging project in Absecon, NJ . The Quality Control Manager will oversee project quality requirements, inspections, documentation, and coordination to ensure work complies with contract specifications and applicable federal standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the project Quality Control Plan Manage the three-phase control process: preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections Review project plans, specifications, submittals, and testing requirements Monitor dredging and marine construction activities for compliance Coordinate inspections and testing with project personnel, subcontractors, and client representatives Document deficiencies and track corrective actions through completion Maintain daily QC reports, inspection records, submittal logs, and other required documentation Participate in project meetings and communicate quality concerns to project leadership Qualifications Previous construction quality control experience Marine, dredging, heavy civil, or federal construction experience strongly preferred Experience working on USACE or other federally funded projects preferred Current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) certification preferred or ability to obtain Familiarity with
EM 385-1-1
