full-time Quality Manager - Las Vegas, NV - Full Time / Direct Hire Hamilton Porter is a nationwide recruiting firm that works with growth mode companies to help them find and hire full-time talent. We are actively partnered with a global manufacturing company with a North American HQ in Las Vegas. There is an immediate need to hire a full-time Quality Manager to join the team. The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products, services, and processes meet internal standards, customer expectations, and safety regulatory and industry requirements. This position is responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives, promoting continuous improvement, and working collaboratively across teams to cultivate a culture of excellence within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Establish, execute, deliver, and uphold a quality plan to align the Company's Quality Systems and Policies with global quality standards. Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System, including policies, procedures, and work instructions Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Material Handling, and Customer Service departments to address quality concerns and implement measures to prevent future occurrences Lead ongoing continues improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Prepare all necessary reports as required to meet all internal and external customers' requirements.

For example:

SCAR, Failure report, other OEM report etc Creating and updating benchmarks for testing, measuring product standards, and checking for variation in quality Coaching, mentoring, and training QC/QA Staff on standards and procedures along with managing their day-to-day responsibilities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in quality management, Applied Science, Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or related field 7+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance or quality engineering in manufacturing or production environments Strong knowledge of quality systems, auditing practices, and continuous improvement methodologies ASQ Certified Quality Manager and Six Sigma Certification are plus Familiarity with OSHA, RoHS, PFAS, TSCA, UL, Conflict Mineral and CE standards are preferred Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems Hands-on experience with 1 or more ERP systems Please apply today for consideration!
