Cleveland, OH Full Time | Permanent Are you an experienced quality professional with a strong background in automotive manufacturing and quality systems? Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead site quality activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as the key liaison between Operations, Engineering, Technical and Customer-facing teams to ensure the highest standards of product quality and compliance. What You'll Be Doing You will lead and support site-wide quality assurance activities, taking responsibility for quality systems, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and continuously improve the existing Quality Management System (QMS) and associated certifications, ensuring requirements are fully implemented throughout the product realization process.
- Ensure customer-specific requirements (CSRs) and Supplier Quality Manual requirements are integrated into site processes and consistently achieved.
- Monitor, measure and report site quality performance metrics across the organisation.
- Lead internal and external quality investigations including customer complaints, SCARs, and off-spec incidents, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Drive data-led quality improvement programs focused on yield, productivity, cost of non-conformance, and customer complaint reduction.
- Facilitate and lead customer and supplier site visits and audits.
- Support and troubleshoot quality-related systems including SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance.
- Manage the site internal audit program, including planning, execution, and document control systems.
- Collaborate with Technical, R D and customer-facing teams to improve first-time-right capability and product quality performance.
- Provide leadership, coaching and quality-focused training across the site while promoting a strong quality culture. What You'll Bring Essential
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management.
- 3-5 years of experience in a people management or supervisory role.
- Certified Lead Auditor qualification (IATF required)
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification minimum.
- Strong knowledge of automotive core quality tools including FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and APQP. Desirable
- Experience working with SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance systems.
