The Role:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Coordinator to join our team in Groveport, Ohio.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect finished garments for defects such as loose threads, poor stitching, incorrect labeling, stains, or fabric flaws.
- Measure garments to ensure they meet size specifications and tolerances.
- Compare finished products to approved samples and technical specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Communicate quality issues to production and quality teams for corrective action.
- Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Always ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
Who You Are:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in textiles or fashion is a plus.
- Previous experience in garment inspection, textile manufacturing, or quality control preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
- Basic math and measurement skills; ability to use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
- Able to withstand constant physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).
- Able to be on your feet all day
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)
- Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
- Able to work overtime
- Constant exposure to adverse conditions such as dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, or heavy machinery/equipment Cart.
