Job Description
Lead Quality. Drive Excellence. Be the Voice of the Customer. Are you a quality-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you take pride in owning customer relationships, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement? We are a growing custom materials and automotive services company seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead customer-facing and supplier quality initiatives. In this high-impact role, you will be the key link between our operations, customers, and suppliers—ensuring quality standards are met, maintained, and continuously improved.
What You'll Do:
Customer Quality Leadership:
Own and lead customer complaint resolution, including containment and corrective actions. Communicate effectively with customers regarding quality issues and solutions. Manage customer portals and ensure all required documentation is accurate and up to date.Customer Documentation Ownership:
Take full ownership of customer-required documentation, including: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions IPPAAR documentation Customer-facingFMEA PQCT
documentation IDS submissions CAR (Corrective Action Request) responses Additional documentation as requiredCustomer Audits:
Lead all customer audits conducted at the facility. Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors. Coordinate audit preparation, schedules, and documentation. Present performance metrics and quality data. Ensure timely and effective closure of audit findings.Supplier Quality:
Manage supplier corrective actions (SCARs). Monitor supplier performance and quality metrics. Identify and escalate supplier-related risks.What You Bring:
Experience in quality supervision within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred). Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation, and customer requirements. Experience with PPAP, FMEA, and corrective action processes. Ability to manage customer and supplier relationships professionally. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead audits and present data confidently. Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. To ensure safety, drug screening and background check required.Key Success Metrics:
Customer PPM (Parts Per Million) performance. Supplier PPM performance. Accuracy and timeliness of documentation. Customer audit results. Effectiveness of containment and corrective actions.Why Join Us:
