Job Description
About the Role As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will spearhead the development and implementation of robust quality systems within a dynamic heavy manufacturing environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to build quality frameworks from the ground up, ensuring operational excellence through technical oversight and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities Design and manage comprehensive quality procedures, inspection protocols, and document control systems to ensure regulatory compliance. Drive continuous improvement by leading root cause investigations, NCR, and CAPA processes to minimize rework and scrap. Oversee end-to-end quality verification, including incoming material inspections, NDT/NDE result reviews, and final product testing. Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to optimize design manufacturability and streamline production workflows. Maintain audit readiness and manage quality records, including welding qualifications and load testing documentation. Analyze and report on key performance indicators to leadership to guide strategic decision-making and process refinement. Qualifications Required Skills 5+ years of experience in quality management within heavy industrial, structural steel, or fabrication sectors. Deep expertise in blueprint reading, GD&T, dimensional inspection, and technical documentation. Proven ability to manage complex
