Job Description Now Hiring For A Quality Control Manager ($10,000 Relocation Package) ASAP (Steady Daylight - $85,000 - $95,000 Starting Off) The Quality Control Manager leads all plant-level quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure products consistently meet regulatory, industry, and customer standards. This role oversees the Quality Control Plan, maintains required certifications and documentation, and drives continuous improvement through effective nonconformance management and corrective actions. Responsibilities Lead and manage all plant-level quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with company quality plans, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, NPCA, ACI, and applicable state and industry standards.
Maintain all required certifications, inspections, audits, and supporting documentation to demonstrate regulatory and customer compliance.
Oversee the Quality Control Plan, ensuring it remains current, accurate, and effectively implemented across the plant.
Monitor and verify that daily operations align with established quality procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Manage nonconformance (NCR) processes, including identification, documentation, and tracking of nonconforming products or processes.
Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence.
Collaborate with production and other departments to resolve quality concerns and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and findings to leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
Support internal and external audits by providing required records, explanations, and evidence of compliance.
Train and guide plant personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent adherence. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a regulated manufacturing or plant environment.
Comfort working with external auditors, inspectors, and customer representatives.
Ability to interpret and apply industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Why Work Here?
