Job Description

Assurance Director Georgetown, TX 78626 Hybrid work From $175,000 a year - Full-time From $175,000 a year - Full-time Workforce Solutions partners directly with leading small to mid-sized CPA firms across the United States to connect them with top talent in the public accounting industry. We are currently working with a well-established and growing public accounting firm in Georgetown, Texas that is seeking an experienced Assurance Director to join their team. What's the role? The Assurance Director plays a critical leadership role in the Assurance division in managing client relationships while overseeing audit and assurance engagements to ensure high-quality work products are delivered in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
This includes:
Leading process managementimprovement of the Assurance division - Followed By All (FBA). Leading audit and assurance engagements, including resolution of complex accounting matters. Establish, monitor, and manage quality standards and best practices within the Service Line. Coordinating internal and external resources to meet engagement timelines and client expectations. Establish, monitor, and manage human resource capacity and development plan. Managing multiple engagements concurrently. Provides a high-level oversight of the work performed by clients. Reviewing and consulting on complex transactions. Coaching, mentoring, and developing staff to build technical and professional skills. Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and cross-sell firm offerings. Adhering to firm policies and holding team members accountable to the same. Attends public speaking to brand the Firm and individual technical expert status What experience and skills do I need to be successful? CPA required. CCIFP preferred. 10+ years of experience in public accounting. Experienced in inspiring and collaborating with a team of individuals. Advanced knowledge of
U.S. GAAP, U.S.
GAAS, SSARS, and assurance standards. Strong technical review, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Proven leadership, coaching, and team development experience. Strong client communication and relationship-building skills. Has business development skills to expand current client services and attract new business. Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment. LMA for service line (Leading, Managing, Accountability).
Compensation Salary Range:
$175,000+ (based on experience and past performance)

$1,000 at Year 1 $5,000 at Year 5 $10,000 at Year 10 $20,000 at Year 20 Incentive compensation program tied to quarterly team billing goals. Performance-based bonuses throughout the year, when applicable.
