Job Description

Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Job description: Job Overview The Director of Quality Assurance (QA) will have a key role in maintaining the organization's compliance with all governing bodies and laws. This position will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the compliance program. Primary responsibility will include chairing quarterly Quality Improvement Committee meetings and Incident Committee Meetings, conducting daily chart audits, follow up with staff on documentation, and conduct training for staff as necessary. Duties
  • Ensures the organization maintains compliance with all federal, state, and local laws including OASAS regulations, Joint Commission standards and Medicaid Compliance regulations.
  • Chairs quarterly compliance meetings including but not limited to the Quality Improvement Committee, Incident Committee meeting and ensures Joint Commission Committees meet as necessary.
  • Ensures Timely completion of documentation and follows up with staff to ensure completion.
  • Conducts daily chart audit reviews to ensure documentation is in compliance with OASAS regulations and Joint Commission standards)
  • Trains, instructs, and evaluates workers and ensures documentation standards are effectively relayed, and standards are being met by staff.
  • Effectively communicates program, administrative, and clinical direction to staff.
  • Discusses problem cases with workers and make suggestions and recommendations.
  • Reviews case records for completeness, consistency, and quality of SUD services provided; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Consults with individual workers to promote staff development and to suggest solutions to problem cases. Identifies staff training and development requirements and provides training and guidance to administrative and clinical staff to ensure SUD services delivery effectiveness Qualifications
  • Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
