Job Description
Niche market-leading manufacturer of precision sockets used in a variety of electronic products seeks a high energy, high initiative person to take on this role. Primary Responsibilities and Objectives
- Hire, manage, and train quality staff in incoming, in process, and final inspection best practices. Drive continuous improvement in all three areas.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure company-wide quality best practices in key areas like design, manufacturing, and supplier quality assurance.
- Handle all customer quality claims at every stage (ex. photo review, RMA, material review, finding, containment, root cause analysis, short term corrective action, long term corrective action) and related customer communications
- Manage continued certification to ISO9001:2015 by continually improving existing company policies and practices and ensuring adherence therein.
- Lead the implementation and support of the Quality Management module in the ERP system. Qualifications Experience
- Min. 5 years of quality management experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment
- Ample experience writing and submitting 8D reports in response to customer quality claims
- Quality experience in a small piece part manufacturing environment
- Work experience in the electronic industry preferred
- Experience working with industry-standard measurement and calibration equipment
- Min.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a business or science discipline preferred Hard Skills- Excellent written and verbal communications

- Basic knowledge of statistics (standard deviation, distribution curves, inspection sampling plans) Soft Skills
