This position is responsible for ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards while supporting continuous improvement efforts and developing a high-performing quality team. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in quality systems, manufacturing processes, and team leadership within a production environment. Looking for candidates with experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, metals, engineered products, or other manufacturing sectors. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate quality control resources to support production schedules and operational objectives. Oversee inspection, testing, and verification activities to ensure compliance with customer and internal quality requirements. Train, mentor, and develop quality personnel to support performance, competency, and career growth. Ensure personnel qualifications, certifications, and training records remain current and compliant. Review and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, test records, and related compliance documentation. Conduct final quality reviews and support internal audits of production and quality processes. Manage measurement and test equipment programs, including calibration tracking and record maintenance. Ensure quality checkpoints, hold points, and verification requirements are properly assigned and executed. Monitor the identification and disposition of nonconforming materials and products. Support the investigation, documentation, and resolution of quality concerns, corrective actions, and nonconformance reports. Evaluate quality processes and procedures to ensure adherence to established standards and requirements. Maintain employee certification and qualification records and coordinate recurring assessments as required. Support supplier quality activities, audits, and quality oversight initiatives. Participate in continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Required / Preferred
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree, associate degree, or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience in quality control, quality assurance, inspection, testing, or quality supervision within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality systems, inspection methodologies, auditing, and compliance-driven processes. Experience leading, coaching, and developing technical or quality teams. Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT/NDE), inspection programs, or related quality disciplines preferred. Understanding of corrective actions, root cause analysis, nonconformance management, and continuous improvement principles. Experience managing measurement and test equipment programs and calibration requirements. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and manufacturing documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems. Relevant quality, manufacturing, inspection, or industry certifications are a plus. #search
