Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HACCP Coordinator to lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. In this vital role, you will ensure that our manufacturing processes adhere to strict food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance protocols. Your expertise will help safeguard product integrity, promote compliance with industry regulations such as FDA and GMP standards, and uphold our commitment to delivering safe, high-quality products to consumers worldwide. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence food safety practices across our production lines and foster a culture of excellence in quality management. Duties Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HACCP plans aligned with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality standards in production processes and assist with preparation for audits. Lead internal audits focused on QA/QC procedures, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, GMP, ASME codes & standards, and other relevant legal requirements. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to food safety and quality control metrics to identify areas for improvement. Coordinate training sessions for staff on HACCP principles, PPE use, food safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards. Oversee documentation of all quality inspections, audit results, corrective actions, and compliance reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product safety and quality assurance systems. Responsible for revising SOP forms and templates used for daily production. Skills Proven experience in quality assurance within manufacturing environments, especially in food safety or related sectors. Strong knowledge of quality standards in production including
GMP, FDA
regulations, HACCP principles, and ASME codes & standards. Excellent data collection and analysis skills to support decision-making processes related to quality management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience conducting quality audits and inspections with a focus on QA/QC procedures. Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards applicable to manufacturing industries. Strong communication skills for training staff and collaborating across departments on quality initiatives. Ability to enforce strict adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) use and other safety protocols during inspections.
