Required to project sites Resume to logan.eiler@kodiakls.com Seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Control Manage r to manage the E&I quality program across assigned divisions and projects. This role will support heavy industrial, oil and gas, energy, and EPC construction work throughout the Permian Basin and other project locations .The ideal candidate will have strong E&I construction experience, practical NEC and
NFPA 70E
knowledge, and proven experience leading quality personnel, managing inspection/testing activities, resolving field quality issues, and maintaining project quality documentation . Key Responsibiliti esManage the
E&I QA/QC
program for assigned divisions and project s.
Lead and coordinate E&I quality personnel performing audits, inspections, surveillance, testing, and documentatio n.
Interpret contract quality requirements, drawings, specifications, and inspection/testing requirement s.
Support inspection and test plans, quality checklists, turnover packages, NCRs, corrective actions, punch lists, and quality record s.
Coordinate third-party E&I testing agencies and support electrical/instrumentation testing, commissioning, and turnover activitie s.
Interface with corporate quality leadership, project management, construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representative s.
Troubleshoot field quality issues and ensure timely resolution and closeou t.
Track, maintain, and report E&I quality metrics to divisional and corporate leadershi p.
Prepare weekly quality reports identifying issues, trends, corrective actions, and improvement opportunitie s.
Train project and field personnel on quality program requirements, documentation standards, and inspection expectation s.
Support the company's commitment to quality, safety, productivity, and team-based executio n. Required Qualificat ionsMinimum of 5 years of E&I Quality Management experi ence in industrial construction, oil and gas, energy, maintenance, or EPC environme nts.
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation construction quality cont rol.
Working knowledge of the National Electrical C ode.
Practical knowledge of NFPA 70E and electrical safe work practi ces.
Experience managing E&I inspectors, field quality personnel, subcontractor quality performance, or third-party testing resour ces.
Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, test procedures, and project quality documentat ion.
Experience with electrical and instrumentation installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and turno ver. Preferred Exper iencePermian Basin, midstream, upstream, downstream, terminal, gas processing, pipeline, power, or heavy industrial project experi ence.
Experience with switchgear, MCCs, transformers, grounding, cable tray, raceway, terminations, torque documentation, megger testing, continuity testing, and energization pack ages.
Experience with instrumentation and controls quality, including loop checks, calibration records, instrument index verification, I/O checkout, P&ID walkdowns, control panels, FAT/SAT documentation, and commissioning sup port.
Experience coordinating electrical acceptance testing or third-party testing agen cies.
Experience supporting quality programs aligned with ISO 9001, ASQ, ANSI, or formal corporate quality management sys tems. Preferred Certific ationsTexas Master Electrician License or equivalent Master Electrical Li cense.
