Job Description

Quality Control (QC)
Manager Pay:
$100,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE) + benefits
Location:
Abilene, TX Overview The Quality Control (QC) Manager serves as the senior-most quality authority on assigned projects. This role is responsible for implementing the project-specific Quality Plan and leading all Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities within the company's scope of work. The QC Manager collaborates closely with client construction and quality teams to ensure all field installations meet contractual requirements, industry standards, and internal quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Oversee and enforce compliance with site-specific document control procedures Develop, maintain, and complete all required QA/QC documentation in accordance with contract and project requirements Perform and supervise inspections of installations to ensure conformity with project specifications Inspect materials for compliance with approved submittals and project documentation Lead development of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and document preventative maintenance requirements Manage the preparation, organization, and submission of project turnover documentation Support pre-commissioning and startup activities in coordination with project teams Serve as the primary quality liaison between internal teams and client stakeholders Qualifications Proven experience in a QC Manager or similar leadership role on construction projects Strong background overseeing QA/QC programs for electrical, telecom, or mission-critical/data center installations Working knowledge of construction document control processes and quality systems Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and submittals Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Experience collaborating with owners, contractors, and commissioning teams Preferred Qualifications Experience on large-scale data center projects Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover documentation Relevant certifications (e.g., CQM, QA/QC certifications) are a plus Benefits Medical Insurance -Aetna Medical plans Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) Savings Plan with company match
