This position will have responsibility for the quality program from raw material receipt through final inspection and shipment , ensuring fabricated pressure vessels meet ASME Section VIII requirements, customer specifications, and applicable code and jurisdictional requirements .   • 140,000 annual base salary , depending on experience $500/month vehicle allowance available for a qualified candidate Full-time, long-term career opportunity Excellent opportunity for an experienced ASME Quality Control professional Key Responsibilities Manage the facility's Quality Control Program in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and/or Division 2 Serve as the primary point of contact for the Authorized Inspector (AI) and Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) Coordinate hold points, witness inspections, and U/UM code stamping Review WPS/PQRs, weld maps, and NDE requirements in conjunction with engineering Manage incoming material inspection, material traceability, and MTR review Supervise in-process and final inspections, including dimensional checks and weld inspection Oversee hydrostatic and pneumatic testing Coordinate and oversee RT, UT, MT, and PT nondestructive examination activities Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Manual, inspection/test plans, and QC procedures Manage NCRs, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions Lead, train, and develop QC inspectors and technicians Maintain code documentation, including
U-1/U-1A

Level II or III in RT, UT, MT and/or PT Experience with ASME "R" Stamp repair and alteration work Familiarity with National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) QC Manager Job Description Who We're Looking For This is a senior-level Quality Control position , not an entry-level inspection role. The ideal candidate has spent significant time in an ASME pressure vessel or heavy fabrication environment and is comfortable taking ownership of the quality program while working directly with production, engineering, inspectors, customers, and Authorized Inspectors. Candidates with backgrounds in pressure vessel fabrication, petrochemical equipment, welding quality, code fabrication, or heavy industrial manufacturing are strongly encouraged to apply.
